ক্যারিয়ারের শুরু থেকেই ব্যাট হাতে ঝলক দেখিয়ে যাচ্ছেন ঋষভ পন্ত। এবার মহেন্দ্র সিং ধোনি এবং ঋদ্ধিমান সাহাকে পেছনে ফেলে ভারতের টেস্ট ইতিহাসে দ্রুততম সেঞ্চুরির রেকর্ড গড়লেন এই ক্রিকেটার। তবে সেটা উইলোর ঝনঝনানিতে নয়, গ্লাভস হাতে ডিসমিশাল দিয়ে।
ঋষভ পন্ত
মাত্র ২৬তম টেস্টেই ১০০তম ডিসমিশালের দেখা পেয়েছেন পন্ত। বর্তমানে এই উইকেটকিপারের নামের পাশে আছে ১০১ টি ডিসমিশাল। এর আগে যৌথভাবে এই রেকর্ডটির মালিক ছিলেন ধোনি ও সাহা। এজন্য দুজনেই খেলেছিলেন ৩৬টি সাদা পোশাকের ম্যাচ। এবার ১০ ম্যাচ আগেই তাদের ছাড়িয়ে গেলেন পন্ত।
দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকার বিপক্ষে চলমান তিন ম্যাচ সিরিজের প্রথম টেস্টে মঙ্গলবার উইকেটের পেছনে চারটি ক্যাচ নিয়েছেন পন্ত। যেখানে ভারতীয় বোলারদের মধ্যে টেস্টে দ্রুততম ২০০ উইকেটের মাইলফলক স্পর্শ করা মোহাম্মদ শামির বলে দুটি এবং জাসপ্রিত বুমরাহর বলে একটি ক্যাচ ধরেন ২৪ বছর বয়সী এই ক্রিকেটার।
ভারতীয় উইকেটকিপার ব্যাটসম্যানদের মধ্যে এখনও সবচেয়ে বেশি ডিসমিশালের রেকর্ড ধোনির। অবসর নেওয়ার আগে ২৯৪টি ডিসমিশাল করেছেন বিশ্বকাপজয়ী অধিনায়ক। ১৯৮ ডিসমিশাল নিয়ে দুই নম্বরে আছেন সৈয়দ কিরমানি। অন্যদিকে কিরণ মোরে ১৩০, নয়ন মঙ্গিয়া ১০৭ ও সাহা ১০৪ ডিসমিশাল নিয়ে আছেন যথাক্রমে তিন, চার এবং পাঁচ নম্বরে।
