আগামীকাল সোমবার পূর্ণ সূর্যগ্রহণ। বাংলাদেশ সময় সন্ধ্যা ৭টা ৩৪ মিনিটে শুরু হয়ে দিনগত রাত ১২টা ৫৩ মিনিটে শেষ হবে পূর্ণ সূর্যগ্রহণ। অবশ্য বাংলাদেশে এটি দেখা যাবে না বলে জানা গেছে।

আজ রোববার আবহাওয়া অধিদপ্তরের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়, জর্জ টাউন থেকে উত্তর-পশ্চিম দিকে দক্ষিণ প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরে সূর্যগ্রহণটি শুরু হবে। আর সেন্ট হেলেনা, অ্যাসেনসিওন দ্বীপ এবং ত্রিস্তান দ্য কুনহা থেকে দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিম দিকে দক্ষিণ প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরে এটি শেষ হবে।
জানা যায়, বাংলাদেশ সময় ১৯টা ৩৪ মিনিটে সূর্যগ্রহণটি শুরু হবে। ২০টা ৩২ মিনিট ৪৮ সেকেন্ডে শুরু হবে কেন্দ্রীয় গ্রহণ। সর্বোচ্চ গ্রহণ হবে ২২টা ১৩ মিনিট ৩০ সেকেন্ডে।
বাংলাদেশ সময় ০০টা ৫৩ মিনিট বা রাত ১২টা ৫৩ মিনিটে সূর্যগ্রহণ শেষ হবে। কেন্দ্রীয় গ্রহণ শেষ হবে ২৩টা ৫৪ মিনিট ৬ সেকেন্ডে।
জানা যায়, বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে দেখা গেলেও বাংলাদেশ থেকে এ সূর্যগ্রহণটি দেখা যাবে না। দক্ষিণ আমেরিকা, দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা এবং প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চল থেকে সূর্যগ্রহণটি দেখা যাবে। এ ছাড়া দেখা যাবে চিলি ও আর্জেন্টিনার বিভিন্ন অঞ্চল থেকে।
