রোহিঙ্গাদের ফিরিয়ে নিতে আরো চাপ দিন, ভারতকে হাসিনা

বাংলাদেশে বাস করা ১০ লাখের অধিক রোহিঙ্গা উদ্বাস্তুকে ফিরিয়ে নিতে মিয়ানমারের ওপর আরো চাপ প্রয়োগ করতে ভারতের প্রতি অনুরোধ জানিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা। সোমবার প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার সাথে তার সংসদ ভবন কার্যালয়ে ভারতের পররাষ্ট্রসচিব বিজয় কেশব গোখলে সাক্ষাত করতে গেলে তিনি এ কথা বলেন। ইউএনবি।
সাক্ষাৎ শেষে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর প্রেস সচিব ইহসানুল করিম সাংবাদিকদের এ তথ্য জানিয়েছেন। এসময় ভারতের পররাষ্ট্রসচিব বিজয় কেশব গোখলে বলেন, ‘রোহিঙ্গা উদ্বাস্তুদের কারণে বাংলাদেশ যে সমস্যায় পড়েছে সে বিষয়ে ভারত ভালোভাবে সচেতন রয়েছে। রোহিঙ্গাদের ফিরিয়ে নিতে আমরা মিয়ানমারকে আহ্বান জানিয়ে যাব।’
ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি বাংলাদেশের সাথে করা সব অঙ্গীকার পূরণ করতে চান বলে জানান দেশটির পররাষ্ট্রসচিব।
বাংলাদেশ ও ভারত আলোচনার মাধ্যমে বিভিন্ন সমস্যা সফলভাবে সমাধান করেছে উল্লেখ করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা বলেন, ‘এখন একটা সমস্যার সমাধান করা প্রয়োজন।’ তিস্তা সমস্যার সমাধান বেরিয়ে আসবে বলেও তিনি আশা প্রকাশ করেন।
