পুরুষদের পাশাপাশি এবার নারীদের নিয়ে আইপিএল আয়োজন করতে যাচ্ছে ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট বোর্ড, বিসিসিআই। সবকিছু ঠিকঠাক থাকলে ৫ দল নিয়ে ২০২৩ সালে শুরু হবে নারী আইপিএলের নতুন সংস্করণ।
আগামী মার্চে উইমেন্স আইপিএল
আগামি বছর নারী টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপ শেষের পরই উইমেন্স আইপিএল শুরু করার পরিকল্পনা করেছে ভারতীয় ক্রিকেট বোর্ড।
এরইমধ্যে আগামী বছরের জন্য মেয়েদের আইপিএলের জন্য একটি উইন্ডোও ঠিক করে ফেলেছে বিসিসিআই। তারা বলছে, ছেলেদের আসর শুরুর আগে মেয়েদের প্রতিযোগিতা শেষ হবে।
২০২৩ সালে মার্চ মাসকেই সামনে রেখে এগোচ্ছে বিসিসিআই। এখনও পর্যন্ত যা পরিকল্পনা তাতে ৫টি দল অংশ নিতে চলেছে।
প্রতিযোগিতায় ৫টি দল একে অপরের সঙ্গে দুই বার করে গ্রুপ পর্বে খেলবে। সেখান থেকে পয়েন্টের বিচারে প্রথম দল সরাসরি ফাইনালে পৌছে যাবে। দ্বিতীয় ও তৃতীয় দল এলিমিনেটর খেলে সেখান থেকে ফাইনালের টিকিট কাটবে।
নিলামের ব্যবস্থাও থাকবে। আহমেদাবাদ, দিল্লি, মুম্বাই, ব্যাঙ্গালোর, চেন্নাই এবং কলকাতায় ম্যাচ আয়োজনের কথা চিন্তা করছে ভারত।
